About Us

We are Cristian and Rebecca, husband and wife passionate about great food. Rebecca has many years of experience in one of the most important UK retailers in the health food and supplements business. Cristian has matured his experience in Italy in the food and catering sector before moving to UK for study reasons.

In 2006 we met at the University of Southampton during our studies as postgraduate students, got married, and decided to live in England for good.

In 2009 we founded BREAD TREE as a tool to introduce the fine art and variety of Italian foods and products to UK consumers. We supply a number of deli shops and restaurants in UK, and are present at the top UK Fine Food Festivals as well as selling our products directly through this website.

We regularly tour Italy, from North to South looking for niche products hand made by artisan producers following traditional methods. You can be sure that everything you find in our website is only the top quality food produced in Italy.

We are very keen to keep in touch with our customers, and if you join our newsletter, you are sure to be part of our voyage at the discovery of the real sense of Italy.
